I stumbled across this ‘article’ the other day. Smashing Magazine had listed one of my photographs, ‘A Hazy Shade of (Almost) Winter’ as one of the most beautiful examples of rain photography on the internet. Needless to say my flickr hits went through the roof, despite this image already being my most ‘popular’ or ‘interesting’ shots on flickr.

It was interesting to note however, the amount of disgruntled artists complaining about how their images had been ’stolen’ to be used on this site. Personally, I didn’t mind the fact that they’d used it (and linked back to the original location) - in fact it was somewhat of an honour - but some credit to go along with the photo would have been nice.
